It was a VERY windy day here, but I did manage to get my “Commonwealth” flag up (a variant of the Canadian Red Ensign). And of course, our US flag (which flies every day) along with some small 48-star flags on sticks stuck into the ground, to give a special “thank you” to the handful of WW2 vets who live around here.
And to all reading this blog who have served, or are serving, thank you. It makes no difference that I’m a Yank and you served Queen and country, you still deserve my gratitude for services rendered. You will ALWAYS be remembered, even if by a daft Yank in the wastelands of rural Ohio.
Take Care, and God Bless!
